What does the price include? Does the price include art materials?
Prices for kids classes exclude materials unless specified otherwise. Different sets of art supplies kits are available for purchase.
Prices for workshops include all art materials and tools required unless specified otherwise.
Can I do a trial class to see if I like it?
We offer a trial class for our kids art classes. These are charged at casual attendance rate. Please contact us to see check out possible time slot. With enrolment after trial class, we do give a credit back. Holiday workshop is another great way to try out our art school as well.
Do I get a refund if I change my mind or if something comes up and I miss a class?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations, change of circumstances or make up classes. Click here to read our cancellation and refund policy in our Terms and Conditions
What should I wear? Do you have air conditioning or heaters?
We recommend wearing close toed shoes and clothes which you can get messy with. Our studio is fully air-conditioned so it will stay cool in summer and warm in winter.
kids' art classes: do I stay with my child or is it drop and go?
It’s drop and go. Please understand that parents are not permitted in the classrooms while the class is underway.
Where is closest parking?
Street parking are available and convenient for drop offs. There are also 2 hour free parking available at the following locations:
Eastside Gardens (62-80 Rowe St)
or Council parking (71 Rowe St)
Questions for school holiday workshop
How much are the school holiday workshop and what is included?
The prices for school holiday workshop depends on the art form and workshop length. Prices range from $65 per child for a 3-hour workshop to $275 per child for a two-day workshop. The prices include all art materials, tuition and artwork to keep.
What food and drink should I pack for my child?
All students should bring a drink and a healthy nut-free morning or afternoon tea snack. If your child is staying for the entire day, ensure you pack lunch and extra snacks.
How many children are in each class?
We keep our classes to 12 children to ensure maximum learning opportunities. There is 1 tutor for each class.
Do I get a refund if I change my mind, my child gets sick, something comes up etc.?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations or change of mind or change of circumstances. However, you can transfer your booking to another workshop or receive a credit. Depending on when you cancel/transfer, it may incur a cancellation or transfer fee or forfeit the entire workshop fee. My child is not 5 yet, can they do a class?
Children must have already turned 5 AND be at primary school. We do not accept preschoolers. The exception is at the January School Holidays where children are already 5 AND about to start Primary School. We recommend these kids attend just 1 × 3 hour session per day rather than one full day.
Do I have to book for a full day or consecutive days?
We offer half day program, full day program, and there is a discount when you book more than one session. Each day is different, you can enrol your child for a single morning or afternoon session, pick and mix multiple sessions over the holidays, or stay the whole day with lunchtime supervision at no extra cost. My child has special needs or has medical/allergy requirements, what should I do?
If your child has special learning needs or other special needs, please tell us at the time of enrolment so we can inform our staff and tutor to make the experience an enjoyable one.
If your child may require medication, carry an epi-pen for severe allergies or have any other special needs please tell us at the time of enrolment. Also supply special instructions/action plans/alternative contact numbers in the unlikely event of an emergency.
How early should I arrive and is there anything a parent/guardian needs to do on arrival at drop my off?
During the school holiday registration, parent sign in will take place in reception on arrival. Please sign your child in and then depart as there is limited waiting space. Please arrive no earlier than 10-15 minutes before the workshop start time.
Do you offer before and after care?
We do not offer before/after care. Please drop your child no earlier than 5-10 minutes before the workshop start time, and then return to collect them promptly at the conclusion of their workshop.
