Service Description

Perfect activity for creative folks, learn the ancient art of Shibori dyeing in this fun and relaxing Sydney workshop. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we will learn to manipulate fabrics with folds, stitches and tying techniques to achieve unique aesthetics. All participates will take away with them a range of dyed samples, as well as the choice of item. Be ready to be fascinated by the stunning effects and simplicity of dyeing with indigo. What is included: • 1.5 hour working in the studio • Step-by-step techniques shown • Traditional Shibori techniques and modern variations • Take home Shibori art pieces (Cotton Scarf 68x190cm)
